Strange Days in Lawndale (1)

It was an ordinary day in Lawndale. Daria Morgendorffer was resting in her room. But suddenly her sister, Quinn, burst into the room in a hurry.

 

“Quinn!” she exclaimed.

 

“Something is happening, turn on the TV!” Quinn said with a sense of urgency.

 

“This had better be worth it!”

 

 

Daria came down the stairs to see something quite strange on the TV. There was a news report from the Central Square in downtown Lawndale. “A flying saucer?” Daria asked incredulously.

 

“That’s what they’re saying,” Quinn said.

 

“It doesn’t look particularly fake,” Daria responded. “But it can’t be real! Can it?”
