Black Panther: Wakanda Forever delayed review
83. Black Panther: Wakanda Forever
Grief. How do we move on? That is the question
for Wakanda, and Shuri in particular after the passing of T’Challa. This aspect
of the film was done rather well, especially at the beginning. But it resonates
through the entire plot. That is not all there is. There is also Namor and
Talokan an underwater civilization that also uses Vibranium. A third thread is
Val, as head of the CIA, plotting to gain a monopoly on Vibranium for the
United States. There is also Riri Williams having designed a device to detect
Vibranium.
Overall the plot threads come together rather
well, particularly after Namor attacks Wakanda and causes another tragedy.
Despite the conflict, the overall theme of grief is not forgotten and pays off
for Shuri at the end. 8.94/10.

In September, Salem, Oregon Incident. Lara Daniels, a
teen mage takes off with her house after a confrontation with her parents. She
takes the house out to sea, where she establishes a seastead.
Lara invites others to join her at her seastead, which
she had named Posiedon.
In October, in an opposition to the trend, Minnesota
legalises the practice of Pagan rituals, citing the First Amendment.
Incidents of Piracy off the West Coast increase. One
infamous example of Mage Pirate is ‘Lightning Beard’.
In November, a border incident occurs between New England
and Quebec. Cooler heads prevail, but tensions remain high.
Also in November, Werewolf motorcycle gangs begin
terrorising communities along Route 66.
In December, Marvel releases Elves of New York #1.
By the end of December, there are 12 people at Posideon.

In late April, Duvalier is assassinated by persons
unknown.

In July a communist coup occurs in Costa Rica

take in Mage refugees.
Designs for a Royal Knights Sea Base start to be drawn
up.

establish small initial settlements on Doggerland.

Tensions between the humans and trolls remain high.

In May, anti Semetic riots break out in Brussels.
West Germany continues to collapse. The northern portion
breaks away as Hamburg-Hanover.

In April, riots break out in Poland due to a massive
