Madison
16
April 1809
James
Madison waited for the temporal vehicle to arrive, bringing the 45th
President back to this time. He hoped that he wouldn't be like the
44th
President. 'Maybe the electors will have more sense,' he thought.
Suddenly, there was a flicker of light, and a sound like a 'Pop!' The
mechanism 'faded in' in front of him. The door opened.
A white man stepped out. “President James Madison?” he asked.
“Yes. I asssume you know that already.” There something about the
future president's tone that he didn't like.
He put out his hand. “President Donald Trump.”
Trump? At least it sounded better than the name of his immediate
predecessor.
