Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales review

Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales
The fifth movie in the Pirates of Caribbean series, set five years after the events of the fourth film. The main story is of a quest for the Trident of Posideon, which is reputed to be able to break any curse (and also has all the power of the sea). Jack Sparrow joins in on this quest, when he learns that a pirate hunter who he cursed is on the loose and after him. There is also Henry Turner (the son of two main characters from the first three films) and Carina Smyth, woman ahead of her time, who is falsely accused of witchcraft (when there's an actual witch they are ignoring).

However, the tale seems to be drawn out compared to the other films, it could have been told in less time. But is still a great entry in the series. Depp seems to have improved his portrayal of his character over the previous entry (but still not as good as the original). However this film is still highly recommended. 8/10.
