Excerpt from: The Rescue
She came to. Her head still hurt from where she had been knocked out. She opened her eyes and saw that her vision was still blurred. She could see that there were two people in the room with her, but not much more detail than that. She could also tell that she was tied to a chair. ‘Great!’ She had got out of other situations like it before, but it was still not a place she wanted to be. Especially, given she couldn’t say anything with her hands tied behind her. She blinked again, and her eyes focused.

“Still not enough people,” Kamasagi said with a smirk.

“Oh yeah?” Clara said. “This can be resolved peacefully.”

Excerpt from: The Engineer and the Time Lady
“Most of these are Science stations.” She activated one of the stations.

Nina looked. The station was showing information from the sensor scans of the forest. “Very thorough.”

Alpha activated another station. “And this is the Engineering station. It shows the status of all the ship's systems.”

“Cool.”

“But this isn't the reason why I brought you here. We need to be here to officially add you to the crew.”

“Of course,” Nina said.

Please enter access code.”

Alpha walked back to the Command Chair and entered the access code on the command console.

“Of course, Captain,” the Doctor responded. “That's one reason why I brought Thor along. He has also experienced a phenomenon like this.” He indicated one of his companions. A blonde male with long hair.

“Thanks, Doctor. I was wondering when you would get to that,” Thor said.

“And you were involved with this kind of phenomenon also?” Janeway asked.

“Yes. It turned out that Asgard got affected via the Bifrost after I arrived.”

“Bifrost. As in the Bifrost bridge?” Tom Paris asked.

“Yes,” the Doctor answered. “It's like your transporter, except with a wormhole and intergalactic range.”

“No. But you have to give me time,” Jia'hale said.

“But you can't just wander the TARDIS alone. You can spend time with myself or the others.”

“I suppose so.”
