82. Thor: Love and Thunder
Thor is on a journey of self-discovery. One
which the Guardians of the Galaxy are tired of. So, they go their separate
ways. This introductory portion was well done. It leads well into Thor’s
arrival at New Asgard. Thor’s surprise at Jane wielding Mjolnir was well done
as was the battle against Gor’s forces in the town. With the revelation of
Gor’s agenda, Thor, Jane and Valkerie go to find help. The trip to Omnipotence
City was well done, but just raises questions about the cosmology of the
universe. (Certainly, setting things up for the future.)
Eternity also raises questions. (Mainly about
whether Thanos would have sought it rather than going after the Infinity
Stones.) Overall, the film was good, but not as good as it could have been. 7.95/10.
