Challenge #3
In your own space, talk about a fannish opinion you hold that has changed over time. Post your answer to today’s challenge in your own space and leave a comment in this post saying you did it. Include a link to your post if you feel comfortable doing so.
Despite society's insistence otherwise, the beliefs and opinions that we hold about things change over time. We thought it was important that we reflect that (and perhaps laugh at our previously ill-considered opinions) with this challenge.

And just as a reminder: this is a low pressure, fun challenge. If you aren't comfortable doing a particular challenge, then don't. We aren't keeping track of who does what.
Not many have changed over time. However, there is one I'll talk about.
When Star Trek: Discovery started. I thought it was quite good. However as time passed, especially from the second season onwards, I saw that it was a mess. The jump to the 32nd Century didn't really solve that issue, and probably contributed to the next note.
Michael Burnham. She is insufferable and preachy, and only become more so over time.
(But these issues didn't stop me being as completionist with Discovery as with other Trek series.
It's not good that Lower Decks ended after only five seasons.)
