Consequences for the Haudenosaunee. Most of the European settlers in their land are happy to begin assimilating. But it’s the minority that don’t that cause problems. And despite the ban on immigration, family members of those who already live there continue to come. Tensions between the Haudenosaunee and the Scandinavians and French increase.

 

Scandinavian and French settlers continue to migrate into Spanish held territory. Actual battles with the latter occur often in early 1717.

 

With Nueva Valencia officially established, more settlement occurs, especially in the Bay Area.

 

 

South America

More Mapuche territory is taken.

High level discussions continue between Spain and France regarding the colonial tensions.

 

Pro-Finnish sentiment increases in Lithuania.

The Rebellion of the Turcomans continues.

 

The Persian Civil War continues. The Kalajid Dynasty captures more territory.

 

More of Tibet is conquered. It would seem that they are on their last legs.

 

The war in Thailand continues.

 

 

Oceania

Trade on the Rio Cortez[1] increases.
