Star Trek: Generations review

Rewatch. Two eras come together via a mysterious energy ribbon. A theme of the effect of the passage of time is woven throughout. This extends to the attitudes of the characters. There is a big contrast between Picard and Soren. However, it starts with Kirk in retirement giving the new Enterprise B a sendoff. This intro sequence is a rather good set up for the rest of the film. Picard’s grief is an important part of the overall theme. It could have been a better film, but it’s still worth watching. 8/10.
