He asked her how her classes were going. She responded with a glare, and a playful slap to his upper arm. That wasn’t what he had wanted to ask! As he rubbed the sore spot, he considered that he was still nervous himself. He looked back to her and saw that she was starting to breath quicker. He grabbed her hands in a comforting gesture. Relax.
