Returning for Summer
Daria Morgendorffer had arrived back in Lawndale for the
summer. The first year of college had been a year of growth, not only in her
knowledge and skills. But she was ready for a break (and helping Quinn prepare
for College herself.) She noticed several minor changes that had occurred since
she was back for Spring Break. But such things were to be expected.
“Daria! You’re back!” Quinn Morgendorffer called as she
came out of the house.
“Of course,” Daria said. She was unprepared for her
sister to hug her. “Quinn?” she asked as she returned the hug.
“Sorry. I’ve missed you.”
