Excerpt from: Berk in Time
“What
are you getting at?” Snotlout asked.
“If I
can get it working, we could get the ship to move itself away from Berk.”
“That’s
a big if!”
“I know
it is. I have no idea how these forges work!” Hiccup said throwing his hands in
the air.

Excerpt from: The Messed Up Magazine Girls
“I agree with you there, Possible, but it seems O’Reilly
doesn’t.”
“One of the Language Arts substitutes?” Kim asked
rhetorically. “Let me guess.”
“Yes. She sent in one of your essays without permission!
But it did win the ‘Spend a Day with Kel’ contest!’
“Great!”
Barkin then handed her the phone.
“Is this the Kim Possible, author of No Big, How I
Save the World?”
“That is my essay,” Kim said, trying to keep her tone
civil.
“Cool! I will be in Middleton tomorrow night for
dinner. See you then girlfriend!”
“Bye.” She hung up. “I would rather deal with Draken and
Shego invading the school!”
“But I’d not, Possible. There was quite a lot of damage
the last time one of your nemeses attacked the school.”
That afternoon, Kim, Ron and Monique looked over few
issues of Kel Magazine at the Beuno Nacho.
“What TV’s hottest hunks really think about your zits?
She really puts her name on this?” Kim asked.
“Quite a lot!” Monique stated. “Kel talks to young stars
about how they love Kel?”
The Kimmunicator went off. “What’s the sitch?”
“Nothing,” Wade Load said. “Except that I
couldn’t find anything nefarious about Kel, other than the contents of her
magazine and that she seems to be a ruthless businesswoman.”

Excerpt from: Conundrum of an Invitation
Daria Morgendorffer arrived at Crew Necke. She wasn’t
sure why she had accepted Brittany Taylor’s invitation to her party. She sighed.
“Let’s get on with it,” her friend Jen Burns said in a
quiet, but ribbing tone.
“I’m not sure why I am doing this,” Daria admitted.
“Because Brittany was nice?” Jen asked.
“But is that sufficient reason?” Daria wondered as they
came up to the guard post.
“I’m not sure.”
“Names?” the guard asked.
“Daria Morgendorffer.”

Excerpt from: The Mystery Girls
It was a normal day at Coolsville High School. Velma
Dinkley was surprised when her Language Arts teacher came over to her in the library.
“Ms. O’Mally?” she asked.
“You know one of your recent essays?” she asked.
“What about it?” Velma asked.
“I kind of sent it in to a contest. But I didn’t think
you’d win.”
Velma was aghast. “I didn’t give you permission!”
“Sorry, but now you have won and Lana is waiting on the
phone in the Faculty Office.”
“Wait? You mean Lana as in Lana? But that magazine
is completely full of frivolity!”
“Not entirely. They do have an essay section,” O’Mally
said.
“I’ll come,” Velma decided. “But
“This is Velma Dinkley.”
“The author of ‘Mysteries of Coolsville?’ Craze! You
have won the ‘Spend a Day with Lana’ contest.”
