Who – The Chessmaster and the Dalek Asylum
The
TARDIS materialized on Skaro. It wasn’t often that the TARDIS materialized in
that forsaken place. Certainly the Doctor hadn’t been his current incarnation.
It was just as well Mel was home in Pease Pottage. He stepped out and saw a human
woman there. Somehow it was she who had sent the message. “I received your
message. Not many can send me a message.”
The
woman then spoke up. “I have a daughter, Hannah. She’s in a Dalek prison camp.
They say you can help.”
“Many
people can say that I can help, especially when it comes to foiling Dalek plans,”
the Doctor paused. “In fact, I am being brought into one right now.”
“What do
you mean?”
“If Hannah’s
in a Dalek camp, how did you escape? When no one escapes from their camps?”
“I’d be
the first one,” the woman said.
The
Doctor took her hand. “You’re very cold. It’s a trap!”
“What
is?”
“You are,”
the Doctor answered as a Dalek eyepiece emerged from her forehead!
The
Doctor is acquired!
In Pease
Pottage, Melanie Bush, looked over a piece of code she had been sent for bug-checking.
Suddenly she heard something. “What’s that? Who’s there?”
Melanie
Bush is acquired!
