'Led-audir' was nervous as he approached the
university cafe. He was going to meet the meta who would be his partner in his
investigations. He checked his watch again. Nearly 9PM. After dinner he had
studied in the Library and then changed into his suit and exited via a secret
route beneath the radio station and Student Association offices. He entered the
cafe from the courtyard to the north, and saw a young woman wearing a mask and
a jumper with an insignia on it...
He walked up to her. “Armidale TK?” he asked.
“Yes,” she answered, standing up. “Led-audir?”
“Yes,” he answered, holding out his hand. She
took it and shook.
“I would like to join you in your
investigations,” Armidale TK said nervously. “But I'd like to get to know you
better first.”
“That's reasonable, but that would take time,”
Led-audir said.
“I know,” Ar-TK said. “But we could go around
Armidale tonight, and talk while we do it.”
“That's a good idea,” Led-audir considered.
