Doctor Who - Fugitive of the Judoon review

Fugitive of the Judoon
The fifth episode of Series 12. Certainly an interesting episode. Some developments that are certainly controversial, but more on that below. The Judoon isolate Gloucester, England (as there are other Gloucester's named after it) in their search for a fugitive. In the TARDIS, the 'fam' have noticed that the Doctor has been more moody, have been leaving them behind occasionally. (Occasional trips to Gallifrey. For what reason? Other than to mope in the ruins?) This scene was done well.
In Gloucester, we are introduced to travel agent Ruth, and her husband Lee, who's lives are turned upside down by the arrival of the Judoon. (Of course, it seems that a lot of others lives are also turned upside down, but this is the couple we focus on.) There is also a baker, who likes Ruth, but despises Lee. Not sure to what to make of character, even if the Judoon commander disintegrates him. But there is more to both of them than meets the eye. Especially when it comes to Ruth, but more on that below.
However, there is something else going on. Captain Jack Harkness is back, with a warning for the Doctor. A very effective appearance. That he would confuse Graham for the Doctor is believable. His reaction to learning that the Doctor is now female was about what I expected. Him confusing Yas for the Doctor was also believable. But, his warning. The Lone Cyberman. That is certainly leading somewhere. And what has to do with the Timeless Child and the below revelation, I'm not sure...
Lee is taken out by the Judoon, but not before sending Ruth a cryptic message: 'Go into the light and break the glass.' The Doctor takes Ruth to her former home at a lighthouse. Ruth turns out to be a Time Lord! This whole sequence was done very well. Appropriately tense. However, the Doctor digs up Ruth's parents' grave, and discovers, a Police Box? Ruth then comes up and introduces herself as, the Doctor! Like, huh? How does that work? And a past Doctor, as Gallifrey still exists for her...
Certainly the Doctor, the one we're familiar with, is confused. Her confusion was very well done. And her realisation, that with the Timeless Child, Jack and the other Doctor, that Time is swirling around her was done quite well also. 9.2/10.
