Excerpt from: The Engineer and the Time Lady

“The reading is still further north,” Lawson reported.

Hernandez consulted her Tricorder. “Strange...” she commented.

“Another strange thing?” Lawson asked.

“It seems to be below the Bodelian. But that would mean there are differences in the development of the University.”

“Another difference between universes?” Albert asked.

“Yes,” Hernandez answered.

In another fifteen minutes they approached the Bodelian Library. The old building looked as it would during Hernandez's studies at an alternate Oxford nearly four hundred years in the future.

Excerpt from: Haru and the Baron

“If people are in need, I want to help.”

Excerpt from: Q Junior’s Lessons

“These are very heavy,” Junior complained as he approached the turbolift. ‘Why wasn’t the Intrepid class designed with turbolift access to the Shuttle Bay?’ he wondered. But there were other options. “Any reason why we can’t beam the luggage to her quarters?” he asked the captain.

“It would be a frivolous use of the transporter.”

“An antigrav sled?” he asked.

“Now you’re talking,” the Captain said.  She tapped her commbadge. “Janeway to Torres.”

Torres here.”

“Can you send an antigrav sled to Deck 10, forward of the Shuttle Bay.”

Sure, Captain, but I’ll be a minute,” Torres reported.

“Janeway out.”

Soon, an antigrav sled appeared, with a DOT15 pushing it. It seemed Lieutenant Torres couldn’t spare any engineers.
