Having been stimied with that; Alpha decided to take a
different track. To look over the internet information for strange events.
Upon leaving the Bugle that afternoon Nina filled
Alpha in on what Peter had divulged.
“So, you think something is happening with Spider-Man?”
Alpha asked.
“It certainly seems like it,” Nina answered. “I didn't
want to pry too much, but I'll keep looking for him.”
“According to our investigations here, it seems that
there is more to this Earth than it appears,” Alpha said.
“Oh?”
“There is much in the data from the internet,”
Alpha said.
“Of course.”
“We're still going through it. But there seems to be
rumors of magic within New York City at a place called the Santum Sanctorum.
The location references are contradictory, but it most often refers to a
place in Greenwich Village.”
“I'll keep an eye out for it.”

Katherine
awoke and saw that Nimue was cooking breakfast, as usual in their journey to
Londinium.
“You’re
awake,” Nimue commented.
“Yes,”
Katherine responded.
“We
should be in Londinium by late afternoon.”
“Finally,”
Katherine murmured as she looked out over the river.

Excerpt from: A Fellowship of 10
He took a look up and down the Road. No one was in sight;
and he led the way quickly down towards the wooded valley.
The Shire Hobbits enjoyed that part of the journey better
than any they had had so far. The woods in the valley were still leafy and full
of colour, and seemed peaceful and wholesome. Frodo saw that the Strider guided
them confidently among the many crossing paths. He was certain that even Merry
would have been at a loss if they were left to themselves. He looked at Hanna
and she seemed to be in awe of the Ranger, especially as they were taking a
wandering path.
“Bill Ferny would have watched where we left the Road,
for certain,” Strider said. “Although I don’t think we will follow us himself.
He knows the land around here well enough, but he knows he is not a match for
me in a wood. It is what he may tell others I’m afraid off. I don’t suppose they
are far away. If the think we have made for Archet, so much the better.”
‘That’s not reassuring,’ Frodo thought.

“We’re close to the Marshes now, aren’t we?” Hanna asked
Strider as she walked with him shortly after they broke camp.
“Yes. We’ll get there today,” Strider answered.

‘Of course, Clara is still asleep,’ he thought. It would
still be a couple hours. He took the time to look through the planet’s network for
more information.
Clara was ready to face another day on the planet and to
try to figure out what was going on. After getting dressed in a similar style as
the previous day, she joined the Doctor for breakfast in the Common Room. “So,
what is the plan?” she asked once she had got her breakfast.
“I still haven’t got much of a plan,” the Doctor
admitted.
That wasn’t surprising to Clara.

A few minutes later, they were outside the building,
where they met Helga. “Wait,” she said. “I don’t think you should come closer,”
she added uncertainly.
“Why not?” Bronwyn asked.
“Some strange things have occurred. Besides, there is now
a hole in the roof. It may not be safe to go inside,” Helga answered.
“Is what caused it still there?” Johanna asked.
Helga shook her head. “Nothing’s there now, besides dust
and some strange acid.”
“I’ll risk it anyway,” Bronwyn decided. She and the others
rushed past Helga into the buildings.
“There is a lot of damage here,” Jess Bellington said
upon entering the lecture theatre.
Helga entered after them. “We better get out of here. The
damage is spreading!”
There was creaking above. “Uh oh!” Bronwyn said.
“Run!” Helga called.
