Excerpt from: Doctor Who: Season 8.5
“Yes, but very
slowly,” the Doctor said.
“Sure,”
TJ said with a wary look at the crack. She began to move slowly
towards the Doctor. She had taken a couple of steps, when the crack
grew wider. “Uh-oh!”
The
Doctor scanned it again. “Of course, this isn’t foolproof!”
“So
there is something there you can’t detect?”
“Quite
likely. However, I have a plan.”
“You
don’t sound confident.”
“First
step, another scan.”
“What
use would that be?” TJ asked with incredulosity.
“Not
to determine what is beyond it, but to determine something else.”

Excerpt from: Doctor Who: Changes in Time and Space
“Good,”
the Doctor said. He left the tavern. “Well, come on then!”
The group
left the tavern and began walking southwards along the main street.
They didn't know that they were under observation. “You won't find
me, Doctor... Not for a while...”
Suddenly,
River ducked to the side. “What's wrong?” the Doctor asked.
“Something's
not right,” River responded. She looked around, and signalled the
others to come alongside her. They all moved alongside her.
“Something else? Or is it linked?” Felicia asked.
