In Panama, the number of Costa Rican Refugees is such that the number of Spanish speakers now outnumber English speakers.

The Costa Rican Civil War goes on.


Europe
After referenda are carried out the Republic of Hanover and the City State of Bremen join the UEDE. (The governments were concerned about overdue influence from Paris, prior to this. They decided to put the decision to the people.)


Africa
The Federal Republic of Somalia takes more territory from the People's Federation of Somalia and the Somali Sultanate.

The Communist forces in South Sudan loose territory.

In the People's Republic of Guinea, Ivorian rebels capture more territory.

The Communist forces in Benin are driven further north.


Asia
In Tibet, the People's Liberation Army captures more territory from the Monarchist and Rationalist forces, and wipes out the Ordinist rebels.
The Monarchists also capture ground from the Rationalists.

“No way. This is too mad. You're telling me I can phone anyone, anywhere in space and time on my mobile?” she asked.

“Yes,” Felicia said, holding up her own phone.

“As long as you know the area code. Frequent flier's privlege. Go, on try it.”

The TARDIS juddered. The Doctor rushed to the Console. “Distress signal! Locking on. Might be a bit of...” He was interuppted as they were all knocked to the floor.

“...Turbulance. Sorry. Come on, Martha, Felicia. Let's take a look.”

The Doctor, Felicia and Martha exited the TARDIS.

“Distress signal transmitted,” a computer said.

“Whoa, now that is hot!” the Doctor said.

“Automated distress signal transmitted.”

“It's like a sauna in here!” Martha said.

“Venting systems. Working at full pelt, trying to cool down. Whereever it is we are. Well. If you can't stand the heat!”

'Of course, Sisko is persistent!' the Operative thought, as she manoeuvred to keep the bulk of her ship between the Saratoga and her warp nacelles. She wasn't that successful.

'I'll have to get the lay of the land,' Kazza thought. She decided to have her team map the shoreline of the island first thing in the morning.

Doctor Who 11.04 'Arachnids in the UK' review

Doctor Who 11.04 'Arachnids in the UK' Review

The fourth episode of series 11. An interesting episode, but the resolution of the main plot was a let down. But more on that later. But first, the landing back in Sheffield. The interactions between the Doctor and her friends they arrive in the South Yorkshire city was rather good. It very clearly shows how lonely the Doctor can be if there is no one else travelling with her in the TARDIS. Yas' family was very realistic. Her Dad and sister's interaction with the Doctor and her other friends were quite on point.

The scenes involving Graham's grief were done rather well also. But on to the 'meat' with the Doctor investigating what was going on with the Khan's neighbour, and Yas discovering what is going on at her Mum's (Najia) workplace... Thus the discovery of the enlarged spiders was done rather well However, Robertson's antagonism was done well. Not sure what to make of him going up against Trump. (rivalry?) But firing Yas' Mum, Najia, wasn't a well thought through decision on his part.

Rather a pattern with him, considering what is beneath the Hotel. Along with a scientist, Jade, who was experimenting on spiders, the Doctor, Ryan and Graham come to the hotel. The investigation of the spiders, leading to the disused coal mine beneath the hotel, was done rather well. However, the resolution of this plot was lacklustre. What to do with the Spiders? Certainly just leaving them there to continue to mess up the ecosystem in South Yorkshire wouldn't have been a good idea. But just luring them into a panic room isn't a good conclusion.

Considering that there would still be more out there. And Robertson gets away (even if his bodyguard didn't.) However, the conclusion where her friends decide to continue travelling with the Doctor, despite her warning that their experiences will change them, was quite good. Like, #teamtardis. An arachnophobes' nightmare, but better than many clunkers in the classic series. 7/10.

2. What key events are described in these chapters? Why would these events make the 11 disciples feel the weight or significance of Jesus' commission?

3. What does Jesus say about Himself in 28:18?

4. What is the connection between what Jesus says about Himself and why His disciples should make disciples?

5. The Great Commission is structured around the four-fold repetition of the word "all": all authority, all Nations, all that I have commanded. What weight or significance does this repetition give to Jesus words?
