Excerpt from: Star Trek: Voyager: Q Junior’s Lessons

There are two other life signs aboard your shuttle.”

“They’re my assistants.””

“I’m sure that what you’ve said is short of the truth.”

“I’m being totally honest.”

“Then are you aware that Borg technology is illegal in Kaso-Dra territory?”

“What Borg technology?” Janeway asked, showing him a schematic of said technology on a PADD.

The custom’s officer looked over the PADD. “I mean advanced scientific equipment inspired by Borg technology,” he said.

She didn’t realise that the interaction had been observed by another Kaso-Dra…

“Was that a good idea?” Junior asked.

“Bribing him with schematics? No. Did It violate the Prime Directive? It didn’t. There’s no actual information on Borg technology in those files.”

“Wouldn’t he discover that.”

“Not until we’re well on our way,” Janeway answered.

Junior nodded.

Voyager was still being pursued.

“Long range sensors have picked up a number of reinforcements,” Tuvok reported.

“Yes, of a sort.”

“Of a sort?”

“Mostly human, with some genetic engineering,” the Doctor clarified.

Quinn nodded in understanding. “Are they getting closer?” she asked.

“No, they’re keeping their distance. But I think they’ve been following us the past few blocks.”

“But not from the portal?”

“No,” the Doctor answered. “Whoever they are, they’re certainly from this side.”

“So, we keep going?”

“Yes.”

Kim, Ron and Rufus arrived back at the portal. “Lawndale. It’s a town in northern Maryland, close to the border with Pennsylvania,” Wade said after Kim had reported her findings on the Middleton side of the portal.

“Right,” Kim said. “But are there any records of a portal in the town?”

I’ll see what I can dig up,” Wade responded. “But we are dealing with time travel here.”

Excerpt from: Daria in the Background

“Too bad,” Jane said.

“Any other shows?”

“None that are considered mainstream.”

The hairdresser sighed, then said. “Listen, maybe you should come another time. My next appointment is here.”

“What about my coupon?” Jane asked.

“I’ll buy it off you.”

“Sure.”

Daria and Andrea found the Doo Dad shop.

Excerpt from: Daria – Mysteries of Lawndale

“Relax, Stacy, Daria knows what she’s doing,” Quinn said reassuringly.

“I hope so.”

“But we should discuss what we are doing tomorrow night,” Daria said.

“Sure, but shouldn’t we wait for Jane to get here?” Stacy asked.

“Of course,” Daria said. “But first we’ll talk about what we have done today.”

“Sure,” Dewey said.

Detention finally ended. “You will be on time tomorrow, Lane!” Ms. Morris stated, her imitation of a drill instructor impeccable.

Excerpt from: Daria – Choice of the Cheerleader

She supposed that it was something she wouldn’t know about.

She twirled a strand of hair as she thought about this. She had already decided to keep her hair dark, still liking the difference. She tied it into her customary pigtails, ready for the new school week.

But she didn’t know that difficult times were ahead.

02 – A Summer of Change

Brittany heard cracking above her. She broke off from Kevin.

“What is it, Babe?” he asked.

“I think the roof is falling in!”

“That silly, Babe. Roofs don’t fall in.”
