61. The Addams Family 2
The sequel to the 2019 film (although none of
its plot points are followed up on). Gomez and Morticia decide to go on a
family vacation. As the trip goes on Pugsley and Fester bond, in a way. It also
appears that Wednesday might not be an Addams. These plot lines do work and
crash against each other in various ways. But it is the Wednesday plotline that
is the most prominent. Was it portrayed in a way that allowed for enjoyment?
Did it make sense? Yes to both. But it wasn’t as good as the first film. Maybe
a character from the previous film should have been brought back?
At least the man who pretended to be Wednesday’s
father was a good villain. 7.2/10.
